This year at NADA New York, Regina Rex is excited to present a solo presentation of paintings by Nancy Haynes, with selections of work representative of her almost four decade study into the convergence of light, paint, surface and illusion. Using a limited, yet electric palette, Haynes' deductive paintings act as a counterpoint to Minimalism and the Light and Space movement - addressing the potential for universal philosophical truth, while also remaining rooted in the conventions and rigor of a daily painting practice.
